Our practice specializes in the prevention and treatment of Infectious Diseases and concentrates on providing answers when diagnosis poses a challenge. Dr. Akl is interested in solving medical mysteries and is committed to providing answers to those who suffer from a medical condition but have been unable to obtain answers as to their elusive diagnosis.

We also run The Washington Travel Clinic, which offers all vaccinations recommended or required for international travel.
